The protection of critical information infrastructures is the focus of NAECCS’s cooperation with the Software Engineering Institute Carnegie Mellon University, as one of the pillars of the National Cyber Security Strategy.
In this line, the new strategic vision of the General Director of NAECCS, Mr. Igli Tafa, is based on an active methodology aimed at real-time control and monitoring of all malicious activities against digital services in critical information infrastructures such as governmental, financial, of energy etc.
The cooperation with SEI has started the first phase of its implementation, in full coordination with NAECCS, through the implementation of consultative meetings with representatives of each sector and analysis of needs, to continue addressing them, in terms of increasing cyber resilience in critical infrastructure operators.
